Nate Click, who is on the maintenance crew at the Snowflake School District, was among those out early trying to clean up the vulgarity left behind. “It just shocks me that somebody would do this,” said Alma Yates, principal of Highland Primary School in Snowflake, which was one of the targets of some very vulgar graffiti. Deputies responded to the Applebee’s on Amargosa Road around 10 a.m., according to reports. Taggers cost Hesperia $200,000 HESPERIA, CA • Tagging crews and vandals cost the city of Hesperia nearly $200,000 each year in clean up costs, according to city officials. The introduction of an ordinance that makes taggers or their parents financially liable for the vandalism caused to city property has led to a slight decrease in the crime. But Kelly Malloy, spokeswoman for the city, said officials are looking into ways to amend the ordinance to allow code enforcement officials to go after the vandals more aggressively. Read more...

Justin Derway said a white male between 5 and 6 feet tall, of medium build, 130 to 150 pounds, went into Glens Falls National Bank a little after 1 p.m. on Wednesday and handed the teller a note requesting money. Bottle Bomb Explodes in Macy's Store
